VAT Talent is hiring for a SQL Server & Reporting Specialist to support a data-driven application environment involving reporting, database development, and performance optimization. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working deep in data, reports, and query tuning.

Key Responsibilities 

• Develop and maintain SQL Server stored procedures, views, functions, and complex queries.
• Design and maintain reports using Crystal Reports and similar reporting tools.
• Analyze application functionality and data models to deliver reporting solutions.
• Handle report development, deployment, and configuration.
• Perform SQL query optimization and database performance tuning.
• Support database development, troubleshooting, and data quality improvements.
• Assist with Azure SQL and Cosmos DB administration and monitoring (training provided).
• Produce technical documentation and follow development standards

Skills & Experience Required

• Strong SQL Server development and query optimization skills
• Hands-on experience with reporting tools such as Crystal Reports, Power BI, or similar
• Excellent SQL writing and analytical capability
• Proven experience in requirements analysis and end-to-end solution delivery
• Solid understanding of relational database concepts
• Exposure to Azure SQL or Cosmos DB is desirable (not mandatory)
• High ownership mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
